Sway sat on a bench, alone...as always.
She didn't know what to do, really, she just didn't.
She'd only been on her own for a short time, but it seemed like forever.
She'd gone back to her parents' house a few days ago, and it had been sold. She'd seen two young children running around the front lawn with a golden retriever, a happy-looking couple cuddling on the front porch.
The same front porch where she'd gotten her first kiss.
The same front porch that she'd stood on, helpless, the first night of her escape.
Complete and utter hopelessness flooded Sway, and she dropped her head in her hands.
She was lonely, and she had no one to help her. Where should she turn?

Samantha walked through the average dirty subways. She would want to take a subway back to Manhattan where hopefully she would be able to get a job and then get a decent place to stay. She saw a familar girl from...the ... lab maybe? She seemed lonley. Slowly she walked over and stood next to her. "You don't know what kind of butts have sat where you sat," she warned.

Cazz laughed at the corny but true joke. The subway was a popular place for her now. She was always on one, moving. It kept Cody quiet, as it did her stomach. She grabbed a pole near by, and she remeberd what her mother had said about those poles, "Kathy," she had always warned, "if you even GLANCE at the pole, you'll catch cancer and then all your hair will fall out!" Her mother always used such tactics, Cazz did love her hair. She smiled, and soon that smile became loud laughter.

Samantha turned around and saw Cazz seeming to laugh at herself. If people didn't know she was blind, they would think she was crazy. "Over here!" she said, her loud girlish but stern voice called out. She hoped Cazz would here her over the trains coming in and out.

So it was Samantha. The nosies of the subway had confused her. She smiled to herself and walked toward the two girls. As she made her way to Samantha and the other girl, familiar scents surrounded her. Srong, unwelcoming smells. Could it be? The smell came closer, faster. She ran to Samantha grabing her arm and the other girls. "We have to get out of here!" She knew the girls couldn't see the scientists yet, they were a good few feet, but they were gaining. Trust me, she prayed.

"Uh...okay," she replied nervously. "Just don't drop into the station on us!" she warned and followed. She saw Cazz grab the other girl and the three of them were starting to run away from...something. She could hear tons of footsteps...she didn't understand how Cazz could have detected something over the roar of the noise.

Cazz flew into a train, any train and shuffled through the people, the two girls still tightly in her hands. As they all made their way into the train, a woman sneered at Cody,"No dogs on the train." Cazz stopped in her tracks and faced the woman. "I'm -BEEP- ing blind lady, would you rather have me walk into the tracks?" Cazz didn't wait for a reply and continued to drag the two girls farther into the train until they were surrounded with people. She took a deep breath in and started, "The scientist had seen us, there is no way they'll attack us now," she pointed to all the people, or as she saw it, witness's. "But they will follow us, so we have to keep moving."

Sway put on her "worried" mask.
She wasn't all that afraid of the scientists, partly because she was addicted to that Beta stuff.
Her powers weren't strong, but...
That's probably why she "needed" more.
Another disappointment was that she couldn't protect herself on the subways.
She needed natural land.
And she hated couting on others - Look at what it had done to her! [/center]

Cazz sat perplexed at the quiet girl who had been with Samantha. "Are you ok?" she asked while raising her eyebrows.

Meanwhile, a solitary figure moved in the crowd. No one saw the glint as he hid his Lobaxin tranqulizer dart gun. He moved quickly, and towards Cazz and Samantha. He whispered into his coat, and two more figures began moving in the same direction, all armed with real firearms.
