Josh hated getting food now. His money was running low, and he almost didn't have enough for a complete meal. He did have enough to last atleast a week, and the week has past. He walked down the sidewalk of Flushing with a pretty good sized trench coat and a beanie hat. Suddenly, he saw a hotdog stand a few feet away from him. Yes...food!

Samantha walked through Flushing and saw the hot dog stand. She held her stomach and a strange gurrgling sound came out. She hadn't eaten for days. Literally. All she had left in her little hideout place was two bottles of water. The little kinds, and then she had to suffer in getting another job.
She looked over the stand and searched for what she wanted. Pulling her pockets out she had two dollars.

Having just enough for one hotdog, Josh casually walked over and looked at the person who was running the stand. "I would like a hotdog with ketchup please!" he said and the man responded. "Two dollars please." After handing over the money, he awaited patiently as the man digged into his cart for a hotdog.

"Make that two!" Samantha called out to the man. He seemed Italian, the hotdog guy, with a little Hitler mustashe to match. She couldn't help laughing at this as she splattered the coins and the crumpled up dollar onto the silver cart. She looked over at the boy and smiled. As she turned to face the other side she thought if she had seen him before. Is he regular? Normal? she wondered.

Josh smiled back at the girl wondering why she was nice to him. The odd man decided to finally hand him the hotdog as he started to dig for another. For some reason, Josh wanted to know more about the girl and wasn't going to leave the spot he was in.

Samantha had gotten her hotdog and she bit into it. Never had a piece of food tasted so food in her mouth. She was about to chow it down when she saw that the guy still didn't take his eyes off of her. She smiled slightly, arching her eyebrow. What can possibly be so interesting on her face that had this guy staring? "Do I have ketchup on me?" she asked.

Josh laughed alittle smiling at her. "No, it's just that you have beautiful eyes." He was telling the truth anyway, and he noticed her beauty easily when he saw her. He knew she probably wouldn't talk to him though.

Samantha cocked her head and laughed. "You have uh...beautiful skin?" she didn't really know what to say. She didn't get compliments on the street by strangers very often. "I'd like to thank you properly, but I don't know your name," she replied. "I'm Samantha," she wiped her hand on a napkin and gave him her hand to shake.

Josh smiled shaking her hand with his open hand. He had gotten his hotdog but decided not to eat it yet. "So uh nice to meet you I'm Josh." he said letting go of her hand.
((What? A handshake?lol))

((THERE WE GO! xD))
Samantha smiled, "Thanks Josh. I'm Samantha," she replied. He had a nice shake. She didn't know. Was he strong? Weak? Probably in between... But she knew she shouldn't assume. She continued bitting into the hotdog, savoring its taste.

Josh felt alittle rude to be staring so much so he had to excuse himself. "Sorry for staring." he said this with quick precision then bites into his hotdog. He felt odd standing there and he ate sorta of like a hungry animal.

"Uh." Samantha looked around her and saw a bench with no one preoccuping it. "Why don't we sit down," she suggested. By now she had already finished the whole hotdog and when looking back at Josh who had just started. "Sorry for staring." Samantha laughed at this. "No problem. We all do it," She then sat down and threw away the napkin. A small dot of ketchup was across her face but she didn't seem to notice it. "Do I have anything on my face though?" she asked. Maybe it was why he was staring. Wait...didn't she already ask that?

Josh followed her and sat down next to her on the bench. "Well you do have some ketchup on your face..." he muttered pointing to his face to show her where it was. "Do you live around here?"

Samantha felt her face and wiped the sauce off her face with her finger. She rubbed it on her pants. She looked at Josh and thought Do I live anywhere? "Uh...yeah, I live around here," she answered. "Do you? Live around here I mean,"

"Yup, a couple blocks away, well actually I am moving in with a girl name Quidam." he smiled saying this and took a huge bite of his hotdog. It didn't seem to warm out, and the leaves were everywhere, even on the road.

"Really?" Samantha said interested. "Because I think I know a girl named that. Does she had a dog?" she asked. Hmmm...what a small world this is

"Yeah she does have a dog...you know her?" he questioned her with curiousity. Maybe she was a beta too...but I doubt it If she was a beta teen, he would be surprised but glad to see another.

"yes actually, I do," she replied, smiling a bit. What is he thinking about me now? "But we haven't really talked that much," she added quickly.

The man who sold them the hot dog hid a faint smile. "Finally, I have found them," he muttered. His casual baggy clothes were as plain as any other ganster prowling the streets, but he was packing a Desert Eagle .357 under his pocket. He reached below the stand and grabbed a small device with a screen. When he had handed the two Betas their hot dogs, they did not notice the micro-GPS tracker he had slipped on them. Now as he turned the device on, two red blips appeared, signaling their position. He smiled and reached for a small radio in his pocket. "Team Blue, you are affirmative to go."

Samantha paused and saw that there was a muffling of radio voices being heard. "uh...I think I'd better go," she said. "It was nice meeting you uh...John," she said, studdering in her words.
